Amid the unfolding Jeffrey Epstein scandal, Sarah Ferguson is reportedly considering leaving the UK. An acquaintance disclosed that the former Duchess is contemplating staying at a lavish oceanfront villa in Portugal owned by her daughter, Princess Eugenie, and son-in-law Jack Brooksbank. This potential move coincides with her departure from the Royal Lodge together with ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

Ferguson and Andrew were asked to vacate the prestigious estate due to the ongoing controversy surrounding their ties to the late convicted child sex trafficker Epstein. While Andrew denies any wrongdoing related to Epstein’s illicit activities, Ferguson faced repercussions after a 2011 email surfaced, revealing her referring to Epstein as her “supreme friend” following his criminal convictions.

In the email, Ferguson expressed gratitude towards Epstein, contradicting her previous public statements denouncing her association with him. Despite claiming to sever ties with Epstein, the email showed her issuing a humble apology to him, which her spokesperson later clarified was to counter potential legal threats from Epstein.

Reports suggest that Ferguson has been under immense stress, with royal expert Phil Dampier indicating that she was on the brink of a breakdown. To support her during these challenging times, Ferguson’s sister Jane flew in from Australia.

Upon exiting the Royal Lodge early next year, Ferguson and Andrew will conclude their cohabitation arrangement that persisted post-divorce in 1996. Andrew is anticipated to relocate to the Sandringham estate following the revocation of his titles by his brother, King Charles.
