Malin + Goetz, a popular beauty brand, has entered administration, leading to the closure of its seven stores in the UK. These stores, located in various areas of London including Seven Dials, Soho, and Canary Wharf, are now shut down, affecting over 70 jobs.

While online orders from Malin + Goetz are currently on hold, customers can still purchase their products through third-party retailers like Liberty, John Lewis, and Space NK.

In a statement to TheIndustry.beauty, a spokesperson for Malin + Goetz expressed regret over the closure of UK stores and the impact on employees and customers. Despite efforts to explore all options, the administration decision was deemed necessary for the business.

Originally launched in New York in 2004 by Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz, Malin + Goetz initially focused on six skincare products catering to all skin types. Over the years, the brand expanded its offerings to include fragrances, body care items, and other beauty products.

The brand’s website is expected to resume operations after a brief maintenance period, although the exact duration remains uncertain. For those interested in staying updated on news and deals, they can join the Money WhatsApp group or subscribe to Mirror’s Money newsletter.
