Canada’s head coach, Cindy Tye, has finalized the roster for the upcoming under-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland. The squad comprises 21 players, including three goalkeepers, five defenders, eight midfielders, and five forwards. The tournament is scheduled to take place from September 5 to 27.
In addition to the main roster, six alternates will accompany the team to Poland to aid in preparations before the World Cup commences. The team, along with players, coaches, and staff, will convene in Lublin, Poland, on August 23 before shifting to their tournament base camp in Bielsko-Biala on August 30. A closed-door match against Spain is slated for August 31.
Canada, one of the 24 participating nations, is placed in Group B and will kick off their campaign against England on September 5, followed by a match against Brazil on September 8. The group stage will conclude on September 11 with a game against Tanzania.
The Canadian team secured their spot in the U-20 World Cup following their victory at the 2025 CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship, marking their third regional title win.
