A series of missile and drone attacks carried out by Russia in Ukraine’s capital and nearby areas caused injuries to at least 16 individuals overnight and into Thursday morning, as per local officials. The Kyiv City Military Administration stated that the assaults occurred at more than 10 locations, with a 10-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy among the wounded.

Ukraine’s Air Force disclosed that it successfully neutralized or eliminated 131 Russian aerial targets during the nocturnal offensive. The primary regions under attack were Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa, with strikes recorded at 36 different locations. The assault included ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as 157 drones and decoys.

According to Russia’s Defence Ministry, their military targeted metallurgical and electronics plants, military-industrial complex factories, energy facilities, and transportation hubs in the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa regions. Additionally, the ministry reported that in the port of Chornomorsk, three bulk carriers and a ferry involved in transporting supplies for the Ukrainian military were hit.

In Odesa, seven individuals, including two children, were injured, with residential buildings sustaining damage. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported damage to a private residence, warehouses, a kindergarten, cars, and garages at various locations. In Kyiv, multiple districts such as Dniprovsky, Solomyansky, and Darnitsky were affected, resulting in damage to warehouses, office buildings, and residential areas.

Kyiv’s Podilsky district witnessed damage to a non-residential building’s roof, while in the broader Kyiv region, civilian areas and infrastructure in districts like Obukhiv, Brovary, Fastiv, and Bucha were targeted. A total of 33 locations incurred damage, with Brovary and Fastiv districts suffering the most significant impacts.

The affected sites included private residences, warehouses, production facilities, and vehicles, with no reported casualties or injuries as per Tymur Tkachenko, the head of the Kyiv Regional Administration.
