Apple has introduced AppleCare One in the UK for customers with multiple Apple devices. The subscription, previously launched in the US, offers a convenient and potentially cost-effective way to safeguard up to three eligible devices, such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches, under a single plan for £16.99 per month.
This new service expands on the existing benefits of AppleCare+, including unlimited accidental damage repairs, battery servicing, and 24/7 priority access to Apple support. The key advantage of AppleCare One is the ability to cover multiple products with one subscription, leading to potential monthly savings of up to £11.48 for customers protecting an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch compared to individual plans.
One significant feature is the flexibility to add eligible devices up to four years old to the plan, as long as they are in good condition. This extends coverage beyond the usual 60-day window for purchasing AppleCare+ after device acquisition. Additionally, when upgrading, the plan adjusts seamlessly by removing the coverage for the traded-in device and adding the new one without any extra steps.
Apple emphasized the customer-centric approach of AppleCare One, aiming to provide a simpler and more flexible protection solution. Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, highlighted the convenience of having all eligible products covered under one plan with peace of mind.
Overall, AppleCare One offers a streamlined and comprehensive protection experience for Apple device users in the UK, reflecting Apple’s commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
