A tragic incident unfolded in Erie, Pennsylvania, as a shooting in a residential neighborhood claimed the lives of nine individuals, including the suspected shooter, causing shockwaves throughout the city. ShotSpotter, an AI-driven gunshot detection system, alerted law enforcement to the situation, prompting a swift response. The city clarified that all fatalities had occurred before officers arrived on the scene, with no further gunshots reported thereafter.
