In Valdosta, Georgia, United States, authorities are probing the tragic death of a toddler who was fatally attacked by two Rottweiler dogs. The victim, two-year-old Kaimir Jones, was under the care of an unlicensed nursery operated by Stacy Wheeler Cobb, 48.
The unfortunate incident unfolded when Kaimir’s mother, Adrianna Jones, entrusted him to Cobb, who reportedly left the child unattended at the facility. Despite being the sole child present that day, Kaimir managed to wander into an area where the two Rottweilers were confined. The dogs, not restrained, viciously attacked and killed Kaimir before help could arrive.
Subsequently, Mrs. Cobb was apprehended by law enforcement and charged with second-degree cruelty to children and second-degree murder. In response to the heart-wrenching loss, Adrianna initiated a GoFundMe campaign, raising over $32,774 of the $40,000 target.
Expressing her devastation, Adrianna shared her emotional account of the day and her reasons for choosing that particular daycare. Chief Leslie Manahan of the Valdosta Police Department condemned the incident as a tragic outcome of negligence, emphasizing the irreplaceable loss suffered by the grieving mother.
