Samsung has unveiled a new lineup of Galaxy S26 smartphones, with one standout feature that sets it apart from the iPhone. The Galaxy S26 Ultra now includes a Privacy Display feature that prevents onlookers from viewing the screen content, providing enhanced privacy for users.

Upon activation in the settings, the Privacy Display feature makes content disappear when not directly viewed, ensuring privacy in public spaces like trains. Users can customize settings to block specific apps or notifications, enhancing privacy control.

Samsung described the Galaxy S26 Ultra as the first in the mobile industry to introduce a built-in Privacy Display, revolutionizing phone privacy protection. By manipulating how pixels emit light, the display maintains content clarity for the user while limiting visibility for others.

In addition to the Privacy Display, the Galaxy S26 Ultra boasts a sleek design, extended battery life, and is powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform from Qualcomm. Rapid charging capabilities allow for a 75% charge in just 30 minutes.

The device also features an upgraded quad rear camera for improved low-light photography and enhanced video stabilization through Super Steady technology. It comes with an S Pen for note-taking on the 6.9-inch AMOLED screen.

Accompanying the Ultra model are the standard S26 with a 6.3-inch screen and the larger 6.7-inch Plus version, both equipped with Samsung’s Exynos chip and triple-lens rear cameras.

Samsung has enhanced the smart features of all new smartphones with a Galaxy AI upgrade, offering improvements such as the Now Nudge feature, which provides relevant suggestions to users for seamless task completion without distractions.

The Galaxy S26 range is priced as follows in the UK:

– S26: 256GB £879, 512GB £1,049
– S26 Plus: 256GB £1,099, 512GB £1,269
– S26 Ultra: 256GB £1,279, 512GB £1,449, 1TB (with 16GB RAM) £1,699

The devices are set to hit stores next month, offering consumers an array of advanced features and enhanced privacy control.
