Amid increasing pressure, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is facing calls to provide testimony regarding the Epstein files. Recently, a private email exchange has surfaced discussing allegations that the former Duke of York engaged in “consensual sex” with one of Jeffrey Epstein’s employees.

In a significant move last month, the 65-year-old Andrew was stripped of his titles by his elder brother, King Charles III. All official patronages and military appointments linked to the Crown have been rescinded. Andrew, who no longer holds the title ‘His Royal Highness,’ has been instructed to leave Royal Lodge and move to a property on Norfolk’s Sandringham estate.

This development comes after years of controversy surrounding Andrew’s association with the late Epstein, who passed away in 2019. Of notable concern is the accusation by Epstein whistleblower Virginia Giuffre, who alleged that Andrew engaged in sexual activities with her on three occasions when she was a teenage trafficking victim.

Andrew has consistently denied these claims. In a memorable 2019 Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis, he stated, “I have no recollection of ever meeting this lady, none whatsoever.” Despite his denials, Virginia reiterated her allegations in her posthumous memoir, stating, “He was friendly enough, but still entitled – as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright.”

Recent developments include US Lawmakers voting overwhelmingly to release the Epstein files. An email exchange between Epstein and former New York Times reporter Landon Thomas Jr, discussing Andrew, has attracted attention.

As reported by The Telegraph, in January 2015, Epstein corresponded with Thomas Jr, suggesting he could clear himself of trafficking allegations with the help of an ex-girlfriend. By this time, Epstein’s once prestigious life among global elites had crumbled.

In 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty to state charges related to prostitution. At the time of the email exchange, he was four years away from facing federal charges for sex trafficking minors in Florida and New York.

In his email to Epstein, Thomas Jr advised him on separating himself from Andrew to mitigate negative publicity. Thomas Jr emphasized the importance of addressing the issue directly to move past the controversy.

Following a call from President Donald Trump for investigations into Epstein’s connections with Bill Clinton, documents from Epstein’s estate were released by the House Oversight Committee. The Clinton Foundation stated that the emails provided no evidence against Bill Clinton.

US officials have acknowledged the UK’s swift actions in stripping Andrew of his titles. There are concerns that Andrew may be summoned to testify before the House of Congress.

Today is the deadline for Andrew to respond to a letter from Representative Robert Garcia, requesting his participation in a formal interview regarding his ties to Epstein.
