It has been over five years since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to step back from their roles within the British Royal Family. Despite this, formal protocols are still observed on certain occasions.

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, shared insights into her life in Montecito, discussing topics ranging from parenthood and marriage to navigating public scrutiny and acknowledging her own mistakes.

Amid a busy schedule, the mother of two is preparing for a Christmas special as part of her Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan. The show’s new trailer teases Meghan’s embrace of traditions while forging new ones and emphasizes the importance of connecting with loved ones.

During a meeting with writer Kaitlyn Greenidge in a friend’s New York brownstone, Meghan, 43, was formally introduced as “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex,” adhering to traditional palace customs, despite being the only two individuals present.

Recounting their interaction in Harper’s Bazaar, Kaitlyn described the formal announcement and detailed Meghan’s discussion on various topics, including her surprise appearance at a fashion show and her aspirations to inspire her children through her business ventures.

Meghan revealed that her home office is located near the kitchen in her mansion, where her daughter, Lilibet, often joins her during meetings, whether they are related to her brand’s finances or creative endeavors.

Expressing her desire for her children to learn the value of courage from her work, Meghan highlighted her childhood memories of making preserves with her grandmother in Tennessee. She recently launched a range of jams inspired by her family recipes.

The upcoming Christmas special of With Love, Meghan will premiere on Netflix on December 3, offering viewers an intimate look into Meghan’s personal and professional life.
