More than 200 hikers are currently stranded on Mount Everest following a blizzard that swept through the highest peak in the world. A rescue operation is now in progress to safely bring them down. According to Chinese state media, 350 individuals on Everest have already been evacuated, leaving 200 individuals still awaiting contact for rescue.
