During Prince Harry’s recent visit to the UK, private security personnel intervened to stop a known stalker from approaching him on two separate occasions. The individual, described as fixated, attempted to get close to the Duke of Sussex during his trip. One incident occurred at a London hotel where Prince Harry attended a WellChild awards ceremony, while the second incident took place at Imperial College London’s Centre for Blast Injury Studies, just days later. The stalker, a woman with a history of following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, was physically blocked by a member of Prince Harry’s security team to prevent any further proximity.

This stalker had been previously identified as a fixated individual by Prince Harry’s personal protection team and had even been seen in Nigeria during the couple’s visit in 2024.

In January 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their decision to step back as working members of the royal family. Subsequently, they were informed that they would no longer receive full-time police protection typical for royals. Instead, they were offered a tailored security service, requiring advanced notice of any UK travel plans, with threat assessments conducted for each visit to determine necessary protection levels.

In May, Prince Harry’s Court of Appeal challenge regarding his security arrangements in the UK was unsuccessful. Following this outcome, he expressed reluctance to bring his family back to the UK during a television interview.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle recently attended a Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week in support of her friend, fashion designer Pierpaolo Piccioli. Sharing news of her presence in Paris via an Instagram story, Meghan was seen elegantly dressed in white wide-leg trousers and a blazer from the collection.
