Jake Paul has received harsh criticism to dismiss his advisors shortly before facing off against Anthony Joshua in the boxing ring. Paul, a relatively new face in the boxing world, has shown significant progress since turning pro in 2020, predominantly competing against former UFC fighters such as Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, and Tyron Woodley. Despite his victories, his only loss came against Tommy Fury in 2023.

Primarily a cruiserweight, Paul will step up a weight class for his upcoming bout with Joshua, although he does have some experience in the heavyweight division, notably defeating Mike Tyson in November 2024. Concerns have been raised about Paul’s well-being leading up to the match, with many expressing worries and even calling for the fight’s cancellation.

The heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul is scheduled for December 19 in Miami and will be streamed live on Netflix, available for free with Sky’s £15 Essential TV bundle. Criticism of the fight has been vocalized, with British heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma questioning the wisdom of the matchup.

While Itauma has been vocal about his doubts regarding the fight, he remains focused on his own upcoming match against Jermaine Franklin on January 24 in Manchester. Itauma is determined to prove himself in the ring and silence any skeptics. He views the upcoming fight as crucial for his development and a chance to demonstrate his capabilities.

The showdown between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul in Miami on December 19, just days before Christmas, is anticipated to draw attention from fans worldwide. Scheduled to occur around 11 pm local time, which translates to 4 am in the UK, the event’s timing may adjust based on the undercard’s duration. The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix.
