A significant change is coming to Freeview TV in the UK today, bringing both good and bad news for viewers. A new channel, ITV Quiz, will be replacing ITVBe on channel 28 starting June 9. ITV Quiz will feature a lineup of quiz and game shows around the clock.

While the exact schedule for ITV Quiz is yet to be confirmed, viewers can expect popular shows like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Tipping Point, Wheel of Fortune, Lino, Deal or No Deal, and Tenable. This move is part of ITV’s strategy to showcase its well-known UK quiz and game show offerings.

Users may need to perform a quick retune if the new channel does not appear automatically. Fans of reality shows previously aired on ITVBe, such as Dinner Date, The Only Way Is Essex, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Abbey Clancy: Celebrity Homes, will now find these programs on ITV2.

The change will not only affect Freeview but also impact Sky, Freesat, and Virgin Media users.
