Ofcom has recently revealed the outcomes of its annual satisfaction survey, shedding light on the best mobile networks for consumers seeking a seamless experience. The report evaluates various aspects such as overall service quality, signal strength perception, value for money satisfaction, complaint frequency, and resolution efficiency. Interestingly, neither of the major networks emerges at the top, indicating room for improvement to meet customer expectations.

GiffGaff and Tesco Mobile have been identified as the top performers in customer satisfaction among the tested suppliers. Despite both operating on the O2 network, they outperform Vodafone, EE, O2, and Three in terms of customer satisfaction levels.

In terms of value for money, Tesco Mobile takes the lead with competitive pricing, closely followed by GiffGaff. Tesco Mobile offers a 30GB SIM-only plan for £12.99 per month (£10.50 with a Clubcard), while GiffGaff provides a 50GB data SIM-only plan for £12 monthly.

Perceptions of value play a crucial role, with Vodafone and O2 struggling in this aspect compared to GiffGaff and Tesco Mobile. Despite differing pricing structures, the perceived value for money reflects positively on the latter two suppliers.

While O2 customers have expressed dissatisfaction with signal strength, GiffGaff and Tesco Mobile customers are content, despite all three networks operating on the same 5G network. This may suggest varying customer expectations or network size perceptions.

The report highlights customer service issues for Three and extended call waiting times for O2, indicating areas for improvement. Overall, customers with Tesco Mobile and GiffGaff are notably more satisfied with their mobile network providers.
