Firefighters swiftly responded to a car blaze that spread to two other vehicles in the Trafford Centre’s busy car park in Manchester. The incident took place near John Lewis around 6:45 pm on Saturday. The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) deployed two fire engines, which promptly doused the flames. According to a GMFRS spokesperson, all three affected vehicles ran on petrol.

An onlooker mentioned that the car park was sealed off as emergency services, including fire crews and paramedics, arrived at the scene. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries. The fire’s cause remains unknown but is not considered suspicious.

The GMFRS spokesperson provided details of the incident, stating that fire engines from Sale and Salford were dispatched to the Trafford Centre’s car park to tackle the fire swiftly. Firefighters utilized breathing apparatus and hose reels to extinguish the flames, with continued presence at the site.
