Wetherspoon kicks off a January Sale today at 600 of its pubs, offering a pint of beer for as low as 99p. Among the discounted drinks are Worthington’s beer at 99p per pint, Coldwater Creek wine for £2.99 per 250ml glass, Johnnie Walker Black Label (25ml with a mixer) for £1.99, and Tanqueray gin (25ml with a mixer) for £1.99.

Additionally, a variety of low-alcohol and alcohol-free drinks are available, such as Guinness 0.0, Corona Cero, Brewdog Punk AF, Stella Artois Alcohol Free, Erdinger Isotonic, Thatchers zero, Koppaberg Alcohol Free, and Gordons 0.0 pink gin, all priced at £1.69 each. Beck’s Blue and Sanpellegrino Aranciata Rossa are also on sale for 99p each.

Food discounts are also part of the deal, featuring an 11-inch Margherita pizza or a chicken burger with chips for £4.99 with a soft drink, or £6.52 with an alcoholic beverage.

Moreover, customers can opt for six jacket potatoes for £4.99 with a soft drink, or £6.52 with an alcoholic drink, with fillings like tuna mayo, coleslaw, chilli bean non-carne, cheese, baked beans, or roasted vegetables. An extra filling or side salad can be added for 99p. New gourmet jacket potatoes are available at £6.49 with a soft drink and £8.02 with an alcoholic beverage.

The loaded spud features cheese, maple-cured bacon, garlic butter, and sour cream, while the Mexican spud offers chilli bean non-carne, cheese, guacamole, crushed tortilla chips, sliced chillies, and coriander. The smoky potato is topped with pulled BBQ beef brisket, cheese, smoky chipotle mayo, and sliced chillies.

Wetherspoon founder and chairman Tim Martin expressed enthusiasm for the January Sale, highlighting the wide range of drinks and food offerings catering to diverse tastes, including a selection of low and non-alcoholic beverages. The sale will be available at 600 pubs from January 2, extending until January 15, except in Scotland where it starts on January 3. Prices may vary at the remaining 200 Wetherspoon venues.
