In times of escalating living costs, finding ways to save money has become increasingly crucial.
The holiday season, especially Christmas, is notorious for being financially demanding. However, one individual has shared her strategy for potentially earning £150 through a cashback platform. Cashback platforms operate as their name implies.
By accessing a retailer through the cashback website and completing a purchase, users receive a portion of their expenditure back as cashback. Recent notable deals have included purchasing a hoodie blanket for just 72p and acquiring Marks & Spencer’s luxury cheese and wine hamper for £24.
Kate, a 37-year-old paraplanner from Bristol, is stretching her funds this festive season by utilizing TopCashback for her Christmas shopping, aiming to recoup approximately £150 in total.
Already, Kate and two friends have booked a Christmas trip, which serves as their mutual gift, earning her around £80 in cashback on the booking.
Kate mentioned, “That amount will cover a meal for all of us, which will be a delightful addition. So far, I’ve purchased a couple of advent calendars and received around £10 in cashback.
“I’ve also bought a beauty calendar, some of which I will use as gifts for my family and friends. With our recent move from a flat to a house, I anticipate buying decorations as well.
“Considering our house move, I expect my gift-giving this year to be somewhat limited. Nonetheless, the Dublin trip serves as a special Christmas present among my friends and me.”
