To combat this setback, the brewery launched a beer garden at the Guelph Lawn Bowling Club earlier in the season, proving to be a successful venture for both the brewery and the club. Colton Proveau, co-owner of Brothers Brewing, highlighted the necessity of this partnership as brewery sales saw a decline of approximately 50%.
The introduction of the beer garden at the bowling club was a game-changer for Brothers Brewing. Proveau expressed gratitude for the innovative solution, stating, “Necessity is the mother of invention. This opportunity was always here, but we hadn’t explored it until now. I’m pleased with the outcome.”
