An air ambulance overturned and crashed on a busy highway last night, causing chaos and injuring three individuals. Emergency responders swiftly arrived to rescue a woman trapped beneath the wreckage.

The helicopter was returning from a hospital where it had dropped off a patient when it encountered an emergency in mid-air around 7 pm on Monday. Captain Justin Sylvia of the Sacramento Fire Department stated that the pilot, nurse, and paramedic were rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Surprisingly, no other individuals on the crowded eastbound Highway 5 sustained injuries, despite the aircraft crash-landing in the middle of the road. Sylvia mentioned that witnesses observed the helicopter descending rapidly, prompting traffic to slow down.
