Stride announced plans to cut disability benefits for those with mild mental health conditions and restrict welfare access for non-British citizens in an effort to trim £23 billion from the welfare budget. The Conservative Party also aims to reduce foreign aid spending by £7 billion and streamline the civil service to save £8 billion. Stride asserted that only his party can be trusted with the economy, highlighting their commitment to transparent fiscal management.
