Tyson Fury has made a surprising declaration that he will not be returning to the boxing ring, contradicting previous plans for a comeback. This decision comes shortly after announcing his retirement in January following a defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.

Despite earlier indications of a potential return, including confirmation from Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, Fury has now asserted that he has no intention of fighting again. This revelation was made during an appearance at Doncaster Racecourse, where he cited his age and the physical toll of the sport as reasons for his retirement.

Rather than pursuing a trilogy fight with Usyk at Wembley Stadium in 2026 as initially suggested, Fury seems to have firmly closed the door on his boxing career. This announcement was made while filming a segment for his documentary series, “At Home With The Furys,” at the racecourse, where his racehorse, Big Gypsy King, did not perform well.

Looking ahead, Fury and his manager, Spencer Brown, are exploring new ventures in horse racing, particularly in the National Hunt discipline. Their recent investments in horses like Cossack Chach and Sea The Clouds show their growing interest in this side of the sport.

In other news, Sky has introduced a discounted Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the upcoming 2025/26 season, providing significant savings to members and offering a wide range of live matches across various leagues. With an increased number of live Premier League games to be broadcast, Sky aims to enhance the viewing experience for sports fans in the coming season.
