Keir Starmer has reiterated his criticism of Nigel Farage, accusing the Reform leader of posing a threat to national unity. The Prime Minister and his team have intensified their attacks on Farage, with Starmer labeling the small boats crossing the Channel as “Farage boats.” Farage responded by claiming that the PM’s criticisms are endangering him and his supporters, an accusation Starmer denied.

In an interview with The Mirror, Starmer clarified his stance, emphasizing the pivotal choice facing the country. He highlighted the option of a Labour government promoting national renewal and inclusivity versus the risk of divisive policies that could fracture the nation. Starmer reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for a united and diverse Britain.

During an interview with GB News, Starmer criticized Farage for his past assertions during the Brexit campaign, particularly on migration policy. He emphasized the need to address migration issues effectively and pointed out Farage’s previous inaccuracies regarding the impact of leaving the EU on such policies.

Regarding Reform’s proposal to abolish indefinite leave to remain, Starmer rejected claims of racism made by ministers and emphasized the importance of a clear political divide for the upcoming election. He stressed the difference between Labour’s vision of national improvement and inclusivity compared to Reform’s agenda of division and disintegration.

Starmer underlined the significance of the ongoing debate for the country’s future, appealing to all those who cherish British values. He extended a hand to individuals across party lines who share his vision for a united and prosperous nation.

In another interview with Good Morning Britain, Starmer reiterated his concerns about Farage’s proposals, warning that they could lead to further divisions within society. He emphasized the government’s efforts to deport illegal immigrants while distinguishing them from law-abiding migrants who contribute to various sectors like education, healthcare, and business.
