EE has announced the launch of new SIM plans aimed at addressing a common issue faced by many customers – running out of data while on the move. The new pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE will come with a feature called “Data Parachute,” providing users with an automatic 1GB data boost if they unexpectedly run out of data.
According to EE, the “Data Parachute” feature is designed to help customers stay connected for essential tasks like communicating with friends, using navigation apps, or simply getting online until they can top up their data. These new plans, starting at £10 per month, offer additional benefits such as data rollover, which carries over unused data to the next month, and free data boosts to increase data allowances for customers.
In addition to these perks, EE pay-as-you-go customers will also have access to the 5G network, ensuring improved performance and faster data speeds. The pricing for the new plans is as follows:
– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited data
While EE’s Data Parachute feature sets these plans apart, other providers like SMARTY and Giffgaff offer competitive deals in the market. For instance, SMARTY provides 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20, while Giffgaff offers 75GB for £10 per month and 60GB for £13. It’s advisable for consumers to compare different deals and select a plan based on their specific data needs to avoid unnecessary costs.
By offering a combination of value, flexibility, and additional benefits, EE aims to cater to the evolving data requirements of its customers, ensuring they stay connected and enjoy seamless mobile experiences.
