Sky TV customers who enjoy watching movies will notice a change in the TV planner starting April 30. The company has announced a revamp of its Cinema channel lineup by merging two services into one. Sky Cinema Animation on channel 312 has been merged into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This change aims to simplify things by consolidating all family-friendly films in one place.

Viewers might feel they are losing out initially, but Sky assures that no content is being removed; it is just being combined into a single channel. Favorites like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, Smurfs, and more will still be available on Sky Cinema Family.

Despite the merger resulting in one less channel, all the content from Sky Cinema Animation will still be accessible on Sky Cinema Family. For those who enjoyed watching films on Sky Cinema Animation, the channel will make a temporary return during school holidays on specific dates.

Sky has confirmed that Sky Cinema Animation will be available during school breaks, offering entertainment for children when they are not in school.
