In a shocking incident during daylight hours, a man was attacked and stabbed multiple times in the St Ann’s area of Nottingham. The police promptly responded to the scene, where a section of Abbotsford Drive was sealed off for investigation by Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service.

Authorities reassured the public that the stabbing was an isolated event and posed no imminent threat. They are seeking witnesses to come forward with any information, emphasizing the importance of even seemingly insignificant details.

Currently, forensic teams and firefighters are concentrating their efforts on an alleyway near the Abbotsford Drive overpass. The investigation is ongoing following reports of a serious assault, with a man found with stab wounds prompting a thorough inquiry by Nottinghamshire Police.

Chief Inspector Dean Gallacher urged anyone with relevant information to assist the investigation. Despite understandable concerns, the police believe the incident is contained and are increasing patrols in the area for added security.

Emergency services, including a paramedic and doctor, responded swiftly to the scene, providing necessary medical assistance before leaving. Nottinghamshire Police encouraged anyone with information to contact them, ensuring confidentiality through channels like Crimestoppers.
