Virgin Media is providing a complimentary upgrade called Smart Support to all its customers in the UK. This service offers round-the-clock assistance to ensure seamless internet connectivity throughout the year.

The Smart Support feature automatically monitors broadband performance and promptly addresses speed or connectivity issues that customers may encounter. It provides real-time recommendations to resolve any problems, aiming to prevent disruptions that can affect online activities like streaming or remote work.

Moreover, Virgin Media can remotely perform maintenance and updates overnight to avoid disrupting daytime internet usage. In cases where customers require enhanced coverage, the service can recommend WiFi Pod or Hub upgrades, with the option to schedule a technician visit at no additional cost for more severe issues.

Gareth Lister, Director of Connectivity at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the importance of maintaining reliable connectivity and fast network speeds. He highlighted that Smart Support ensures quick issue resolution, giving customers peace of mind about staying connected. This initiative aligns with the company’s commitment to keeping customers online, especially during crucial times.

Virgin Media has confirmed that Smart Support will be available to all customers without any extra charges, establishing it as a standard service across their network.
