A young woman reportedly attacked her boyfriend by cutting his head with a knife following an incident where he touched her newly enhanced nose. The incident occurred during a heated argument between the 18-year-old couple, leading to the arrest of the woman for assault by authorities from the Conburi police force in eastern Thailand.
According to reports, the altercation escalated when the boyfriend touched the woman’s recently operated-on nose, causing her pain. The situation took a physical turn when the woman claimed to have heard a loud noise inside her nose upon the touch, leading her to believe her surgery was damaged. Subsequently, in a fit of fear and anger, she allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and struck her partner on the head.
Emergency services responded to the woman’s call for help, discovering the man with a severe four-inch cut on his scalp. Video footage of the scene showed emergency workers attending to the injured man while the woman was visibly distressed, tending to him.
Both individuals were taken to Laem Chabang hospital, with the woman described as emotional and holding onto her boyfriend tightly during the transportation. Despite the chaotic situation, they remained together throughout the ordeal, with the man undergoing surgery to have his wound treated.
Authorities revealed that the woman is known for frequently altering her appearance and expressed to the police that she acted out of control due to the perceived damage to her nose job and facial appearance. She admitted to reacting impulsively after feeling pain and distress, acknowledging her fault and apologizing to her boyfriend afterward.
Despite the severity of the injury, the man declined to press charges against his girlfriend. A spokesperson from Laem Chabang Police stated that without the victim’s complaint, they could not proceed with the girlfriend’s arrest.
