A wealthy individual from Russia passed away following a tragic incident where his Lamborghini overturned and burst into flames on a highway. Alexei Dolgikh, aged 36, was driving his £329,000 sports car at a speed of 93mph with three companions when the accident occurred in Moscow. Reports suggest that Dolgikh lost control of the vehicle and collided with a crash barrier, resulting in the fatal crash.
According to the Moscow Prosecutor’s Office, the Lamborghini driver collided with an obstacle on the International Highway during the night, leading to the car overturning and catching fire. The incident claimed the lives of two individuals and left two others injured. One victim suffered an open leg fracture, while the second individual sustained multiple fractures and was transported to Botkin Hospital for treatment.
The authorities are currently investigating the causes and details surrounding the tragic accident that took place at 1.30am on the busy road, resulting in a fiery explosion. Images from the scene display scattered cash on the roadway, highlighting the severity of the crash.
The fatal crash instantly claimed the lives of Alexei Dolgikh and his passenger, Ivan Solovyov. The remaining passengers, Nikita Tezikov, 21, and Kirill Mochalov, 22, sustained injuries and were promptly taken to the hospital, where they survived the ordeal.
