A 28-year-old woman has admitted to mutilating her lover’s genitals out of jealousy. Windi Sintia, from Indonesia, carried out the violent attack to teach her partner, who was already married, a lesson about infidelity, as per local reports.
During a sexual encounter, the woman reportedly used a penknife to sever the man’s penis, causing him to flee into the streets in distress, seeking assistance. He was promptly taken to a nearby medical facility, where surgeons successfully reattached his organ, according to Tribunnews.
Sintia was apprehended by authorities on October 21 and expressed her reasons for the extreme act, stating, “Our relationship was akin to that of a married couple. However, his continuous deceit and unfaithfulness provoked my anger and disappointment.”
Alleging that the man had been unfaithful to both her and his wife with other women, she remarked, “While I do have some remorse for my actions, I mostly feel content. I have finally found satisfaction.”
In light of having an eight-year-old child who depends on her, Sintia’s legal counsel has requested a delay in her impending incarceration.
