A man passed away ten days after an alleged assault during a charity event, with his wife remembering him as an exceptional father. Authorities are seeking witnesses and information following the incident that occurred at a private charity function, resulting in the death of Jack Oliver Frogell, known as Olly to his loved ones. The altercation took place at Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club, leading to Olly being hospitalized and a suspect being apprehended the following day.

In a heartfelt tribute, Olly’s wife Lisa expressed the irreplaceable loss felt by their family and community due to the tragic event. Detective Inspector Caeva Taylor of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit extended condolences to Olly’s family and urged any witnesses to come forward to assist in determining the circumstances of the assault. The police also cautioned against sharing any footage of the alleged incident to prevent potential interference with legal proceedings.

Individuals with relevant information are encouraged to report online, contact the police through web chat, or call the non-emergency line, quoting Op Teamer. For those preferring anonymity, the charity Crimestoppers can be reached at 0800 555 111 or through their online form.
