A pregnant woman who showed bravery during the tragic Bataclan terror attack in Paris has shared her story a decade after the incident. Known as Charlotte, she disclosed that her now nine-year-old daughter is fully aware of her experience on November 13, 2015. Charlotte, who was filmed hanging from a window ledge at the Bataclan, was saved by a man who later became her daughter’s godfather.
Two months pregnant at the time, Charlotte gave birth the following summer and her daughter now provides emotional support to her. The young girl is even asking to share the story with her friends. The ISIS attack in Paris claimed the lives of 130 individuals, with 90 of them attending a concert at the Bataclan.
Charlotte’s identity remained undisclosed for a decade, but she recently decided to speak publicly about her ordeal. She credited Sebastian Besatti, the man who saved her, as a close friend. Sebastian, who asked to be her daughter’s godfather, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share his role in the event and described Charlotte as a significant person in his life.
