Tesco has announced that Clubcard members can now earn two points for every £1 spent on gift cards throughout December. This promotion, available in all Tesco stores, applies to third-party gift cards as well, not just Tesco gift cards. The bonus points will be automatically credited to the Clubcard accounts of shoppers.

Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, emphasized the value of this promotion for finding the perfect Christmas gift. By earning double points on gift card purchases, shoppers can give thoughtful gifts while also receiving rewards for themselves.

With approximately 24 million Clubcard members, Tesco offers various ways to earn points. Customers earn one point for every £1 spent on groceries in-store or online, for every two litres of fuel purchased at Tesco petrol stations, on Tesco Mobile spending, on Tesco credit card purchases, and through the Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card. Accumulating a minimum of 150 points allows members to redeem a £1.50 Clubcard voucher to use at Tesco.

In related news, bargain expert Jordon Cox shared a tip on how to decode the expiration date of Clubcard Price promotions at Tesco. By identifying a specific six-digit number on items with Clubcard Price deals, shoppers can determine when the offer ends, helping them plan their purchases and save money on shopping trips.
